Hey guys... in 3 years this is my first ban and it happened in my 2 farming accounts 1)Were you using Honorbuddy, Gatherbuddy or both on the account? GB2 (hmmm it seems this is really a no no atm) 2)Which version (and Beta or Release)?: Latest release 3)If so, when was the last time?: 48 hrs ago 4)What profile were you using?: personal profiles I never bother using forum ones 5)What combat class were you using? if None Just put Default then the Classname: singular druid and paladin 6)What plugins are you using?: basic ones, stuck and mount 7)How many hours per day did you bot for?: 10 hrs at a time but only every 4 to 5 days I would play the accounts manually in between 8)What honest percentage of time did you supervise your bot? 100% as I always do so when I am playing my main manually and with 3 screens is easy to supervise 9)How many auctions per day did you have?: none 10)Did you Use Any Other Bots, Hacks, or Mods? no 11)Was your account involved in gold selling? no 12)EU or US realm? US 13)Is the banned account a Scroll of Resurrection or an actual paid account? One fully paid brand new , other one was fully paid also and very old acc. My guess is that BLizzard really has come to grips with GB2, sighhh back on the saddle again , hate to start characters from scratch
Great news everyone!!! Well after I apealed the ban I got a 72 hr suspension instead on both accounts. I do not want to go into much detail here as I do not want to flag my accounts even more than they already are (we all know Blizzard must have spies on these forums, they will be silly not to)but I thought I share a few interesting points here. 1. In the GM reply he said that irrespective of what I was doing at the time of the ban , they look into the activity of the account. He pretty much told me that they can see if a character is doing a repetitive action for long periods of time eg. grinding, pick pocketing, gathering etc. 2. They obviously keep flags on the account; the brand new account got a suspension for "abuse of economy" only (I did not post Auctions neither I sold any gold at all) whilst the old account had a previous suspension and they told me it was my last warning they were sure I was boting but due to the history of the account they were giving me a last chance ( the account belonged to the mate that introduced me to the game who openened the account in Vanilla and no longer plays so I use it for botting) 3. I wonder if multiboxers get afflicted by these suspensions since they have different accounts on the same IP, which funny enough was what I was doing when the ban came I was multiboxing the accounts to make them look human. (I am aware multiboxing is not illegal by Blizzard standards) I am just wondering if seeing multiple accounts on the same IP at the same time flags you as a bot? And lastly I am open to suggestions from people who have had their accounts banned and then reinsteated to suspended , who still bot them and have them active. How did you guys go about botting the account again? Cheers Tekken
