I was botting 3 accounts yesterday. 2 were running kicks leveling profiles and the 3rd was using Gatherbuddy w/randombuddy. The 2 that were leveling were just suspended for 72 hours. The gathering one is fine so far.
Yes same IP/same machine. No they were not leveling together, one was in outland and the other in STV. The 3rd was gathering for about 2.5 hours in VotFW and did not get hit(yet lol)
I know the feels just had 2 72 hour suspenions and 1 perma ban all three were quest botting 2 were alliance about 40 lvls apart and the 3rd was horde lol
yeah it does suck. I'm not sure why I got hit but it has to have something to do with this last patch. I have been botting every day for the last 5 months on 5 accounts and the only ones that got hit were the ones I was questing on yesterday. Not the gathering ones. /shrug
Same here I haven't used gatherbuddy in like 5 months lol and never used it at all on two of the accounts but I think those people talking about them scanning the background process's on your computer may be on to something hard to say for sure I'm going to activate a battle chest account tomorrow though and just load HB but not start it and just hit the toon so it doesn't afk log off for about 9 hours straight and see if I get banned on the account if I do I think that's bullshit I'm pretty sure even if it's in their ToS saying theyre aloud to do it they really aren't in all honesty and that shit should really get dealt with. But I haven't gone through and read the ToS in a while I suppose I'll do that know and try to find something about it.

That way making it easy to see what people were doing leading up to the ban.
