I would lean towards yes, but that's just my opinion (mostly because if Warden picks up something and you're running both accounts on the same PC, I'm guessing both will get flagged). Just to be safe, I keep my main and bot accounts on different machines.
so when i run the bot on another pc it doesn't care that both share the same ip but mac address does?
Although the botting community is undecided, it's generally accepted that Blizzard doesn't issue bans based on IP.
i have had an acct botting and banned, others were unaffected. even same b.net other acct unaffected -Kick
imo if u get banned on 1 account selling gold they do a ip check and if a "reasonable number f accounts come up same ip " they ban all
What about running your main and your bot account on the same machine at the same time? That's the part that I'm pretty sure will get both banned.
My experience with a ban is that ONLY the offending account will get banned. My Main account got poped because I was botting using (elsebot) on it however my backup account, on the exact same B-net, did not get touched. In addition the other account that I happened to have been playing at the same time (another backup I was making) off and on. Many times I would be playing on one account and botting on the other. (Interchangeably) and still only one got banned. At the end of the day we all have to remember: Do not risk what you fear to loose.
