Just thought i would share my success ) Mostly herbing + mining making approx 20k+ per day single toon was more at the release Botting approx 12hrs a day sometimes more Not selling pyrite ore waiting until you can prospect for epic gems. Thanks gatherbuddy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Actualy i smelted it and sold it semd to be more profit due to shitty drop from prospecting. But yeh all depends on prices on ur server ofc.
I started farming maybe 3/4 days into cata my toon hit 85 from mining i originally smelted + sold the pyrium bars in the AH they were going for a fairly good price back then now it seems the price has dropped on my server still a fair amount of gold could be got by the amount i have but certainly not worth letting go concidering the amount of damn bots on my server!!.. I almost brought elementium geode pet 2 days into cata for 6k the price for the pet on my server is now 800g lol thank god i didnt!. Since the expansion ive loss intrest in wow level'd all my toons to 85 on my main account manually just dont find it fun anymore concidering giving up.. if i do ill almost certainly just play to make gold and sell Its more fun!!
I am currently botting with 9 chars(herb + mining) and the amount of gold earned every day is just amazing. Compared to the beginning the prices already dropped but i'm sure in 2011 when all the people have to work/go to school again they don't have time to farm all that stuff theirselves so the prices will go up again. I am botting almost 20 hours a day and getting more stuff that i ever could sell..allthough i got some private buyers that buy a huge amount of stuff every day. It's just awesome. Trying to get as much gold as possible to a) hit the new gold cap or b) be prepared to buy every new super epix out of the ah, got the vial of the sands drake yesterday. A guy sold it via trade chanel and i asked him to buy it and he said "sorry already sold"....and i thought "well let's see" and asked him "for how much?" and he replied "50k" and i said "okay i give you 60k" and BAM it was mine XD It's cool to be able to buy everything and get the gold you spent back within 1-2 days =)
Once you start botting wow turns into monopoly you turn into Donald trump instead of getting all excited for raid day lol. Damn botting is more addicting then wow
I actually agree on that. Botting is just as addictive. First thing you wake up with is 'Hey, let's see how much shit I farmed last night'
yup same here! spent 200K in my main in first couple of weeks of cata bought epic world drops mounts and so on. Guildies thought i as nuts till i made it all back with my first weeks proper botting!
