Email: **NOTICE OF LICENSE TERMINATION*** Offense: Use of Bots or Third-Party Automation Software Blizzard has terminated this World of Warcraft license after identifying the usage of bots or other cheat software. These programs (commonly called cheats, bots, and hacks) automate certain aspects of gameplay, or provide unintended advantages and abilities to the player. This type of cheating undermines other players' experience and severely upsets the balance of the game environment. Blizzard reserves the right to terminate access for conduct of this nature, with or without warning, as noted in the World of Warcraft Terms of Use: Blizzard Entertainment:World of Warcraft Terms of Use This page contains details on how suspensions are appealed and reviewed: http://www.battle.net/support/article/6741 Regards, Blizzard Entertainment I have never gotten an email stating that I use bots. Before it was cheats and hacks, but this email is very specific to my usage of bots. I will say that this makes me wonder how I Got detected. I am not saying I didn't get reported possibly did, but nothing to much and if anything was suspected I always chat in guild and trade so I looked normal. I have no idea how to bot anymore and I use to bot a lot in the past with Glider, and Pirox Bot. This game is getting to much for me, I guess ill take my 300k gold and leave botting now. I thought I could get setup and start again but it seems to much work and harder. The investment in money and time is not worth the profits gained. I would really have to say that botting is probably over for the majority, and only those tech savvy guys that's can program or get away with botting through their own ways will exist. Ill be sending two ticket reports and state whether they worked, for the benefit of the community. One will state that I didn't bot I got hacked (USUAL REPORT FROM EVERYONE), my second report will be stating I admit I did bot and won't do it again. Lets see if it works.
Sent first appeal and it stated I did bot and was wrong for doing it. Lets see if I get a reply that will benefit all the users. If this works then I guess I have no choice but to sell the account!
Stating your guilt was probably not the best thing to do in this situation. Hopefully they will knock you down to a 72 hour ban. The gatherit profiles seem to produce a high amount of ban reports. Not only are they very popular but they also get high nph which could have caused this. LCP detection could have also caused this ban.
Who the F pays for profiles? are u serious dude? Anything above 140 NPH AND Public/paid c**p will get you banned.
I sense that is what caused it since it did well over 140NPH, like I was so happy I made a shit ton of gold that week. I sent a ticket and for one of them they had been banned before and I sent a ticket explaining I did bot, they said they would revoke to actions if I hadn't done it before. Therefore if anyone wants to get an account unbanned for the first time, then best advice is to admit you did bot and tell them the program. This would mean you may not be able to bot, but at least you will get it back. Once you get banned once a second ban will never be revoked the lady told me. I have talked over the phone and they told me that as well, admitting that you bot is the best thing to do as it will in most cases get your account back, versus a story. She also said we get 1000s of tickets with the family hacked the account and it has become something we don't take seriously. Therefore best advice for those that lost a main, or an account they plan to never bot, JUST ADMIT YOU BOTTED!
I sent two tickets and both I admitted to botting. One of the two got unbanned. The one that didn't get unbanned was banned from before due to the fact I did bot and never admitted it. Ill forward my generic ticket I sent and the two replies I got. LETTER OF APPEAL! Yes I did bot on this world of warcraft account. I didn't plan to take it so far as to ruin the fun of the people. This game takes forever to get good gear, and level. I decided to bot so I can make this process easier. I work long hours my children take up the other half. I really don't have time to do all this. I think Ill just take it really slowly and enjoy the game. I hope you can understand and reverse this as it is my first offence and I wont do it again! APPEAL 1 EMAIL: Greetings! Thank you for contacting us concerning the recent action taken against the World of Warcraft account johnlemon206@hotmail.com. While we understand your concerns regarding the status of this account, we take matters involving the integrity of the game environment very seriously. This being said, we've overturned the ban to a suspension of 48 hours (starting now) and you should be able to access the game again once that is expired (Which will be on 2013-07-28 22:58:54 GMT) . Please take a few moments to look over the World of Warcraft Terms of Use (Blizzard Entertainment:World of Warcraft Terms of Use), which all players agree to upon initially logging into the game. The Terms of Use state that you will not "...modify or cause to be modified any files that are a part of the Game Client or the Service in any way not expressly authorized by Blizzard" or "...use cheats, automation software (bots), hacks, mods or any other unauthorized third-party software designed to modify the World of Warcraft experience..." This also includes action against any behavior that Blizzard considers outside the spirit of World of Warcraft. Please review our in-game penalties policy (http://us.blizzard.com/support/article/20221) for more information on account actions. Thank you for your continued correspondence in regards to your account and for respecting our position. APPEAL 2 EMAIL: Greetings, Thank you for your follow-up contact regarding the account WoW1. This account was closed after evidence was produced indicating one or more characters on the account were found to be using an unauthorized cheat program. These programs provide character benefits that are not achievable in the World of Warcraft through normal means. Such benefits include, but are not limited to, character automation (also known as "botting"), increased speed, teleportation, or running through walls/boundaries. These types of programs offer an unfair advantage over other players and supersede the intended limits of the game. As a result of this determination and the harmful nature of unauthorized programs on the game environment, the action taken against this account will not be reversed. Please understand that we do not reach this decision lightly. This action has been taken in accordance with our Terms of Use (Blizzard Entertainment:World of Warcraft Terms of Use). In addition, you are responsible for any unauthorized cheat software found to be running in conjunction with World of Warcraft, regardless of the location and ownership of the computer used to log into the service. Anyways, just so everyone gets the idea ill be posting reasons I got banned, and test multiple accounts for the benefit of all users. This would mean I will take accounts and play on them within different scenarios to see if the theories we develop around botting are actually true. Please post anything you guys want me to test. I have a bit of spare cash and don't really care about wasting accounts. I can do anything just shoot a message on this post, and ill get back to you on the results. I suspect LCD detection to be one and NPH, ill test and see if those are actually detected fast or over long periods of time before being banned. I suspect their are tiers of botting bans, whereby they choose when to ban a user and not. Therefore a more easier detection gets banned faster to eliminate noob botters, while big operations runned by sophisticated users get hit all at once on all their accounts (E.G big gold rigs). Lets test and see.
