All 6 got the same email. Don't mind 4 of them, but 2 I would like to get back. Gonna write a bull-shit story tomorrow.... damn!!!! Any suggestions? *edit* 1)Were you using Honorbuddy, Gatherbuddy or both on the account? Honorbuddy, primarily Dungeonbuddy and Questing 2)Which version (and Beta or Release)?: Release 3)If so, when was the last time?: Yesterday, until they all dc-ed 4)What profile were you using?: For Questing, Kick's 1 - 100 5)What combat class were you using? if None Just put Default then the Classname: Tuanha and singular 6)What plugins are you using?: None at that time 7)How many hours per day did you bot for?: Between 0 and 10 hours per day, mostly Dungeons 8)What honest percentage of time did you supervise your bot? When I'm Questing, 99.8%. Dungeonbuddy with 5 of my accounts probably 90%? (It's hard to put numbers to it ) Due to my illness I'm home-bound, got nothing else to do then sit behind my computer and knit 9)How many auctions per day did you have?: Not much, the spirits and windwool, mostly selling everything. Tried to sell the greens in the beginning, but have no patience for that. 10)Did you Use Any Other Bots, Hacks, or Mods? No 11)Was your account involved in gold selling? Some of them, yesterday I traded gold for gtc. I think they closed everything with the same IP. One of the 2 accounts I like to get back flew in the one who was gonna trade. The other one was doing nothing at the time of the trade. During the ban one was questing. The other was inviting them into the guild. 12)EU or US realm? EU 13)Is the banned account a Scroll of Resurrection or an actual paid account? Paid *end of edit* ***Notice of Account Closure*** Account Name: WOW1 Reason for Closure: Terms of Use Violation -- Exploitative Activity: Abuse of the Economy This account was closed because one or more characters were identified exchanging, or contributing to the exchange of, in-game property (items or gold) for "real-world" currency. You want suggestions but you dont tell us anything at all. How is anyone supposed to help you? Fill out a ban template.
Right now Im going to say you are probably fucked. EU is going total Nazi on anything to do with dungeons right now and I have not seen anyone in the last while get anything back from an appeal. GL with your appeal. Question, how long after you traded gold for the gtc did the ban hit? Did you trade the gold face to face? You traded the gold from a botting account? Couple of tips for you. Never trade from your bots. Ever. If you want to trade gold the safest way to do so is to do AH trades or guild bank invites. Always have an account thats a "mule". Let him do all your dirty work for you. Bots are just to bot and deposit gold to a guild bank. Never bot on an account you do not want to lose. Even if you do not bot on your "main" account there is a chance to lose it. If a GM decides to blanket ban you he will ban even your main even if you never botted on it before. Hope this helps alittle.
About 2 hours. Yes Yes Every tip helps!!! Thank you. Haven't played in a year or so, started again a month ago. Never botted for money, just for gtc and never on main. I know it's a risk you take and it's "just" a game. But it still hurts, this is my first ban. Never even had a suspension.
Based on your answers Im going to assume you got banned for the trade and not the botting. In your appeal Id actually mention that you traded gold for a game time card. Since blizzard is considering allowing this in the future you may have a little luck with it. Problem is Im sure they have looked at your bots history and noticed they were in dungeons. I think its a long shot you will get them back but who knows. GL
I've appealed, they've denied!
