Recently upgraded to 6 bots and im feeling great about it been going at it for 11 Hours a day every day except Wednesdays for about three months now I have made approximately 2.2 Million Gold, and i have sold most of if (as of today) for a total of ca. 800$ which I'm very happy for! So yeah, since i used some of the cash to upgrade my computer, I could also add one more bot to my collection! xD So this is my second thread in the Success category, last time i was about to quit boting after leveling up like 10 chars or something. But i figured hey, what the hell, lets make some cash out of this game And i would just like to thank every single person that developed this awesome bot! It may be a bit expensive, but i got every penny back (And no bans! YEY!) oh and i thought this might look cool
Man that's pretty awesome!!! You didn't show any names on that pic right? Just would make sure you cover your tracks... Your hours might give it away too... Just trying to help a little.
Hehe, nah my names are blurred And just to be on the safe side, ill edit away the time stamp Cant be too careful. Thanks mate
Of course the questions will come - what you sold, raw mats or crafted items (or mixed)... how you sold the gold off (private buyers, websites...) My main thoughts are towards the first part... looking at your pick, you were mining and herbing Cata mats... 6 bots spending 11 hours a day gathering mats equals a metric butt ton of stuff! Sooo... how are ya converting all those mats into gold? (I know, your server is different than mine - I tell others that all the time... I'm just looking for your approximate method). Great job on the accomplishment - that's great to hear. I'm not looking to sell gold at all... I just farm for my own toons.
I only sell raw mats + the extra uncut gems i get I sell everything on AH and dont really have any problems selling it all. The only thing that varies is the price ofc On some servers i sell for 10k gold a day steady, but others will only give me like 2k. And i only sell to websites, im not to dedicated to start selling privately... yet
Really cool Yeah i tried upgrading to 4 bots, but logging them in and configuring Honorbuddy so they can start doing quests takes a while. My machine has no problem running 20+ bots im sure, just leveling my bots 1-85 will take a while. My priest 40-85 took me about 3 weeks to level ( on and off botting when im home only, didnt bot many hours per session ).
wow, what are your computer specs? with my Intel i5 760 and its working on about 80% with all six running :O
Personally i3 540 @3.06GHZ stock 8GB DC 1333MHZ 2TB 64MB cache 6400? RPM 18MBit Cable I can clear 15 bots with ease. Turn down all your settings to minimum. Disable any unneeded addons and plugins, and make your WoW windows as small as possible.

Running a lot of bots is not a question of cpu, its just about ram. With all settings on minimum and fps limited to 15 you almost don't have cpu load.

Seems nice the result, gotten more out of my 6 bots but that was back in the days I've sold a few mill which then gave a good buck, but these days it's such a hassle to sell.
Anybody able to help me with a hardware advice? since some here are really it savvy I wanted to ask: - my motherboard (MS-7366) only has 2 ram slots and supports 4GB ram (an online store told me) - vista 64 installed - Q6600 QuadCore CPU at 2.4Ghz ----------------------------------------- Question: 1) on the web I have read that it might be possible that u can use more than those 4GB (?) is it true, that I can upgrade my system to maybe 8GB and can I use this Ram then? 2) In case my pc wont be able to use 2x4GB ram efficiently does it financially make sense to get a new motherboard for more Ram? or what would u recommend to upgrade my system? Sincerely, Wolf
1) Windows Vista And 4GB Of Memory outlines how much RAM you can use. Vista Basic: 8 GB Vista Home Premium: 16 GB Vista Business/Enterprise/Ultimate: 128+ GB 2) It does, as above posters said, you can limit FPS to drop your CPU usage, I forgot to include that.
