Oh well. It happens. I just reactivated my account about a month ago. I watched the bot while questing/pvping so I can say that the ban was certainly not for hour long glitches into walls or anything of that nature. Most of my botting was just allowing the CR to run the routine while I controlled the movement. I did some arenas using this method and I could have been reported there, but I imagine that due to the scope of the ban wave, some software detection was the ultimate problem. A lot of people got banned again. It seems that Blizzard has figured out honorbuddy. I know the HB staff is fairly confident that after the tripwire event in January that they have determined the cause of the detection. I'm not as confident, but I guess they have 6 months to figure it out before it applies to me again. I won't be getting another account. I won't give Blizzard the satisfaction. Ban me for 6 months, lose 6 months revenue. Do I think my measly $15/ month means anything to Blizzard? Not really.
