My 6 month ban runs out in a few days (praise the lord) and i was wondering if anyone has experienced a higher ban chance after being banned a first time. As in do we think blizzard looks at you more closely? I botted for nearly 5 years without a ban then stupidly left pvp on for too long and bam see you in 6 months. If anyone has experienced being banned very soon after there first ban please let me know. cheers p.s. i know botting is inherently unsafe, but if the chances dont go up im not bothered.
For second offence, the "idle" timer would tick for 18 months. I have quite a few of those, and most of them are lifting next spring
With the HB vs. Blizz lawsuit being seen in the DE courts in a week, I'd expect a banwave shortly after that time if it goes poorly for Blizz...Just like what happened last time HB won in the courts. I hope I'm wrong, but that was really the start of the "recent" banwaves for HB and other bots.
I have 3 accounts and I'm botting on 2 of them. Stopped botting on my main since I got caught in the first banwave on it. I accidentally attached HB to my main though twice so far. So I'll probably get banned in the next wave anyway :'(
I think since Blizzard lost that court battle, they are not letting any appeals go through. I tried for the last couple months to get my accounts freed up to no prevail. :-(
I have a few 18 month accounts and one 6 month which will lift soon but I have basically just tossed them away. I have a feeling they are watched now and basically will be hammered sooner than a fresh account. And lets face it, after 6 months you are better off with a fresh one anyway unless nostalgia controls you and you cant live without a few cool mounts and heirlooms.
