      Hello.
I have a little problem with my botting computer.
      I have a decent computer Q6600 + 4 GB RAM + 9600GT videocard running Win 7 x64.
Problem is that I can get 6 bots in the air quite nicely, CPU at 40% and ram load at around 60%.
When I try and get another up the system starts acting funny. It doesn't slow down due to the proc or ram so I suspect its a HDD problem since I can hear it working like a maniac.

I have a 500GB HDD splitup into two partitions one for the OS one for the other stuff. WoWs are running in minimum settings, etc.
Any ideas what I could do, other then buying another HDD, to further improve things and get 2 more bots running?

PS: before cata I used to run 9 bots but as soon as Cata came I saw a drastic drop in performance.

You can use third party software for decreasing graphics details... Then WoW look like game 10 years old, but usage of your cpu drop to 50% then before.

      /console maxfps 20
      /console maxfpsbk 10
      ^^ GB

      /console maxpfs 30
      /console maxfps 25
      ^^ HB

i also shrink my wow windows before wow opens ... go to config.wtf (for your bot folder)

      change this:
      SET gxResolution "1920x1200"

      to

      SET gxResolution "200x150"
      ^^ or something like that

      So another HDD it is.

I want a SSD so bad but they are freaking expensive.
I'll just go for a 500GB or 1 TB with a HUGE cache. Ty for the info and oppinions.

      I've ordered a Samsung 1 TB SATA-II 7200RPM 32MB PMR Spinpoint F3.
Lets hope this will take care of my problems :).

It was the stupid viewdistance setting. It was set to good. All hell would break lose as soon as I started the 7th bot.
I've set it up to low and now 8 GBs and 1 HB are running flawlessly. ^_^ Stupid me I guess.

get more ram, although it says your only using 60% i will bet you your page file is swollen and using alot of hard drive to extend your memory. (cause that % section in your windows memory likes to include page file memory)

I am running a 24gb system at the moment with 5 bots up, and i am pulling around 6gb pull between the 5 bots. on a fresh install.

my old q6700 would also be pushing 100% usage on that load.
