maybe a small comment, I didnt sold any fragment, I let the bot solve everything and use up the fragments.

 

u got banned the first time you used archeology bot?

 

the first time I used ANY bot in wow. account created in 2006 october.
wanted to test archeology bot, cause after more than few hundred tolvir solve, I still dont got the mount, bot was up for like 8-9 hours, then they found me

its kinda strange btw, that this is my first ban, and already 72 hours.
(well, I got banned once for 1 day for using the N word in our alt raid, but someone tought its funny to report me - this was in cata t11)

 

auto ban due to player report most likely.

 

People see someone doing something, report.

Makes me paranoid about returning

 

What level was the toon? I found botting Archa in Uldum before L85 was just not worth it. Lots of spots where you can get into a "killed/died/reincarnate/run back" loop. As well as a couple of stuck-ish spots but not bad in that zone compared to most.

Were you -only- farming Uldum?

Either way, I've used the Arch bot a lot, probably 100 levels over 10 toons, including a couple of toons from 85-86 just to bypass the boredom of monitoring the quest bot. I never used key fragments but I highly doubt that had anything to do with it.

Kinda surprised they would take a single player report to autoban on a first hour of botting unless it did something really obvious and more than one player reported (not uncommon to see someone asking for other players to report once an obvious bot has been spotted).

 

lvl 90 warlock. 491 ilvl, so I think pretty much 1hitting anything, even in Uldum - however, I dont know if there was ANY tolvir solve with the bot, I'll check later. of course not only uldum, you'll have like 9 night elf site then 1 tolvir, repeat..or less
