This decision was made after a thorough investigation of the situation as a whole. When a harassment report is made, all players involved in the incident are subject to review, which may result in account penalties. Though we are unable to discuss the outcomes of our investigations due to privacy concerns, rest assured that this incident has been looked into very thoroughly, and the appropriate actions have been taken on all involved accounts. Account Action: Suspension (72 Hours) Offense: Unapproved Third Party Software A third party program is any file or program that is not a part of the World of Warcraft software, but is used to gain an advantage in the game, such as increasing your movement speed or teleporting from one place to another beyond what is allowed by game design. It also includes any programs that obtain information from the game that is not normally available to the regular player or that transmit or modify any of the game files. Normally, this classification does not include UI modifications, except those UIs that require an external application to function. Any external applications that are used in conjunction with World of Warcraft can cause quite a few unwanted side effects. Some of the major possible results of the use of third party programs can be instability of the game to the point that a player "crashes" from the game quite often. External programs can also be used to transmit viruses, spyware, and other unwanted programs into a player's computer. Third party programs can also be used to obtain information from the player's computer, such as account, password, and personal information.

Regards: I've had the bot for about 4 months, my friend had his suspension about a month ago (from botting BG's) and he's had it for 1 month. No surprise to see my suspension, but I wonder if it takes several player reports for blizzard to send the auto-suspension? Recently I have made some expensive NPC purchases that could be traced, but blizzard doesn't investigate into suspensions, do they? I'm avoiding the appeal because my recent track record is quite iffy with my logged hours. I have made gold well into 6 digits so I don't think blizzard has looked at my account. I feel my suspension was definitely due to the un-supervised nature, and partially due to using a less discreet profile while doing gathering (which gets non-botters really riled up, I used to be one)
I would hold back my Horses in your position, you are lucky that you didnt get perma banned. From now on i would use private profiles and plugins which alert you when players whisper you. Greetings Sven.
Thank you guys, now I feel very lucky I didn't get stuck with a perma ban. I will work on my plugins, profiles, and keep botting behavior very discreet for a long while.
I don't know what that is, and I will be taking my farming character to a private guild too. I was farming Pandaria, when I logged on this morning I found myself in uldum...
That is a GM porting you. It has happened in the past. I botted a year ago and was watching it, I gor ported a continent away, and I instantly stopped the bot and spoke in guild chat. "WTF????!?!?! I was herbing in Uldum, just grabbed an herb and all of a sudden I am in xxx. How is that possible?" Nothing ever happened because I responded so quickly.
Because his email had "When a harassment report is made, all players involved in the incident are subject to review" and I was curious if it could be connected with SGI.
Oh really? I forgot to include the rest of the email, but it seems like GM's usually sign their reports? This is what I recieved: ---------------------------------------- Regards, Blizzard Entertainment www.blizzard.com/support ----------------------------------------
