The other night I got hit with a 72 hour ban and I went to login to my battle.net account to try to see when exactly the ban would be lifted. The main page says 'Locked' then when I click on it it says Account Banned You are unable to access this page because this license is banned, locked, or suspended. Does this mean I got a permaban or is it still just a 72 hour suspension? If anyone can let me know I'd really appreciate it.
It just means you get a 72 hour suspension the account is just "locked" check your registered email to find the reason for your suspension. The reason is most likely because you were botting or using other "hacks". I recently got out of a 72 hour suspension because I was playing 3s and in que when I got the suspension.
Yeah I know why I was banned I just wasn't sure why it would say account banned on the battle.net page even though it says you're getting this because it's suspended/banned/locked. Why wouldn't say this account is suspended and have different messages. Oh well. Back to botting in another day!
If you are botting with your main account I would care a lot. When I got suspended (72 hour, appealed got it back withing 1 day) I was stupid and was questing with Kicks profiles (not his fault, great profile!) and my priest ended up spamming one quest NPC for 2 days while I was out of town. Thus resulting in a ban, now if you were botting herbs and ore on a second account I would take a break for about a month, maybe quest a toon up, gear some characters or maybe even manually farm for a month following a profiles way points.
