Hey I was watching a movie the other week and was leveling my Warlock with Kick's profile pack at the same time. I didn't notice the GM respond to my ticket so i got logged out, i tried to log back in 3 times, third time i got the suspension message. SO, my question is, is it safe for me to bot again as long as i dont use the same profile? Is there like a good wait time or what? Sincerly Fleep
Just don't bot while you have a ticket open... While not answering a GM is not grounds for a ban, it MAY get the guy suspicious and actually investigate.
At one point or another, I've gotten every kind of penalty I could possibly get, on the many accounts I have. EDIT: You don't have to follow my advice though. That's why I said "I would" and not "it's safe". The risk is always there.
I have made the stupid mistake of botting while I had a ticket open... Did get a suspension, but today I am still botting on same account.
My main(any only) account has been banned twice(permanent) and unbanned twice when I called Blizzard. I called them after each ban and said I don't know why I was banned, I did nothing wrong. When I got my account back I botted as normal. They don't do investigations/follow ups, its all based on player reports.
I never would have believed this, but a close friend who has been caught using bots like LazyBot and other free ones has been talked to by the GM's over 5 times. His first time was a 72hr ban which he appealed saying he wasn't botting and he doesn't understand why they would think so. His reasons always go pretty much like this he said, "I have spent so much money on this game, from the CE expansions to the pay to own pets/mounts, why would I bot I would be scared to lose all that" They have believed that crap every single time, so its fairly safe to say if you spend money on things in WoW they will let you keep playing even though they have absolute proof you're a botting liar lol. I'm not saying botting is bad, but he is blatantly lying to them and I'm sure they know about it.
