i would like to see proof of the email stating every word and you showing they said they were scanning your ram
This is not the first time they state in a e-mail that they have been scanning ram. Here -> http://www.thebuddyforum.com/honorb...r-banned-blizzard-checking-cpu-ram-usage.html This is starting to sound serious. I mean, they wouldn't be dumb enough to lie about it, now would they?
That made you banned! You cant get away for a long time with 6-8 hours daily, even when separated in several sessions, what to say for 18! But I guess you know that. On the question - no, they do NOT scan your RAM outside wow.exe, and CANNOT DETECT Honorbuddy application. If you ask why, then bother to read all the hundreds of threads regarding that - here, on Ownedcore or any other wow-related forum, just google it!
Yeah, I always heard that too. But then again GB2 used to be a lot safer, and now it isn't. Why would they affirm they are reading your RAM and all that crap? Just to scare the shit out of botters or to leave people without a holding ground to appeal?
I've been getting away with 8 hour sessions for a long time. Only a handful were gb2, most were dailies or DB. I had a very solid alibi, I thought sure would get overturned, it was 100% solid. Hence I ain't putting it here because then they know who I am if they read. I think they did scan my ram and CPU and not just lying about it because my story had ip log ins halfway around the world and had that in my story etc. I'm thinking it would be safe to bot for tyrael. I'm thinking if I want to use gb again I need a new account and do it slow.
Err, did you know police officers can lie? But looking at that link, I'm not sure what you think it proves. The OP of that thread doesn't follow the guideline for submitting ban reports. Maybe he was using hacks or something? Who knows? The letter from blizz doesn't actually say anything that isn't in their standard form letter for bans.
Yeah I know they can lie, but doing this (scanning stuff) can get them in trouble, right? As for my link, someone up there asked for the e-mail where they said they scanned RAM, that's why I linked it.
This is email: Thankyou for your additional information.Sadly having reviewed your case the action taken has been upheld and the suspension will not be removed. When running, the World of Warcraft client may monitor your computer's random access memory (ram) and/or cpu processes for unauthorized third party programs running concurrently with World of Warcraft. An unauthorized third party program as used herein shall be defined as any third party software, including without limitation any addon or mod, that in Blizzard Entertainment's sole determination: I. enables or facilitates cheating of any type; II. allows users to modify or hack the World of Warcraft interface, environment, and/or experience in any way not expressly authorized by Blizzard Entertainment; or III. intercepts, mines, or otherwise collects information from or through World of Warcraft. In the event that World of Warcraft detects an unauthorized third party program, Blizzard may a) communicate information back to blizzard entertainment, including without limitation your account name, details about the unauthorized third party program detected, and the time and date the unauthorized third party program was detected; and/or b) exercise any or all of its rights under section 6 of this agreement, with or without prior notice to the user. The use of such programs or files is clearly unfair to the World of Warcraft community playing regularly and is not tolerated on our servers.
Scanning processes outside of WoW would absolutely get them in trouble, which is why they don't do it. Yes, the letter they sent might not make it crystal clear that they only scan WoW-related processes, but that's what they do. And when I say they could lie, I mean they could lie and say they scan other processes, not just WoW. But they wouldn't actually do, and the person responding to your appeal would have no way of doing it manually or whatever.
