Account Name: WOW1 Account Action: 72 Hour Suspension Reason for Action: Terms of Use Violation -- Exploitative Activity: Unauthorized Cheat Programs ("Hacks") This suspension happened because one or more characters on this account were identified using an unauthorized cheat program, also known as a "hack.". These programs provide character benefits normally not achievable in the World of Warcraft. Such benefits include, but are not limited to, increased speed, teleportation, or running through walls/boundaries. Use of these unauthorized programs harm the game environment because they offer an unfair advantage over other players and superscede the intended limits of the game. Even if this is the result of account sharing, the account owner can still be held responsible for the penalty because of the impact it had on the game environment. We've found the above behavior is many times directly related to groups responsible for compromising World of Warcraft accounts; we take these issues very seriously. To better understand our position against exploitative activity and the risks involved, please review this article: Impact of Buying Gold - Shop - World of Warcraft The exploitative activity that took place on this account violates the World of Warcraft Terms of Use. Ive always did my best to make a wall between the accounts. I just cant see my account being banned for just lazyraider.... i mean.... idk... something fishy.
Nope, never farmed them before. Its just lame, im used to seeing my farmers banned, and i just shurg it off. but this is idk.. personal lol. I keep thinking it might be becuase of one of my farmers, but none of them are banned and still up and running with flying colors.
I think it's safe to say that there's definitely something going on with rotation bots right now. I'd say that it was Tyrael in specific, but I am currently sitting through a 72 hour suspension myself and I have never touched that botbase, I've used Lazyraider only.
Dont explain the botbase only, please - do explain what you were using it for. Tyrael can easy been busted in arenas other PVP battles like RBGSs for example. With the almost-instant interrupts, done by CC, you are simply labeling yourself "BOT" over your head! And it should be common enough for the opposite team to get furious enough and do a collective report on you!
72h is player report 100% sure about this (apart from when they modify it from perma ban), you're definitely getting reported.
I used it for PVE. raiding. I never PVP... i dont like pvping. 100% raiding. How on earth can i get reported for using a CC for raiding? No one knows, but me and you guys. If it was detectable, alot more than just me would be suspended. "That guy does good dps, im going to report him" just doesn't click for me.
They are, sadly... and I think it's only the start, someone should make a video and then you can see if there are any noticeable bots. again, not saying it'd detectable but people are getting reported by players.
You just kinda confused me And i was like #3ish to post about a 72hr, and now i see like.... 10-15 this afternoon. Interesting...Im scared!
You'd be surprised.. It takes a botter to spot a botter. You out dps'd another botter, and pissed em off..
What is diffrent on US side than on the EU side i use tyreal ever sins my last ban with purerotations and singular. Never been banned ever since for 3 months now and i use it on an dailie base for more than 10 hours a day in LFR. I used to set up tyreal at 15 ticks a sec so i don't out dps people. I also make fun in instance chat talk to my guildies etc to look as humman as i posble can.
I just cant see another botter reporting another one. 1. WTF... 2. Wouldn't that flag botter a's and botter b's account 3, WTF...again
You guys are saying that player reports are enough to get someone suspended/banned. As if my guild mates and I could just collectively report someone we don't like and they will be banned. Nonsense.
You'd need quite a number of people (we don't know how many), and yes you and your guild mates in return could get banned for abusing the player report button. Try it and see for yourself.
I honestly think some people are making this stuff up because I for one have used tyreal for awhile now and have not gotten a ban yet from it. Maybe some people are pulling our chains because honestly even in pvp situations you should not let the bot interrupt for you that's just screaming out bot.
I`m going to give you a perfect example. Few weeks ago, a friend of mine, who never touched any kind of bot, was suspended 72h for using of "automated bla bla, third party software". Why did this happen? it was simple, because of player reports. He likes AH, but he never sold hes gold, all the gold he made he used for buying all kind of rare mounts/pets and stuff from BMAH. One week before he got the suspension, he received multiple whispers from one frustrated person, simply because he was always undercuting him on AH. All kind of whispers from "Stupid idiot, stop undercuting me"..."get a life, go to sleep", but the most important ones were "i`m going to report you, retarded idiot for using bots". Ofc my friend ignored him, yet he was whispering from multiple chars. Few days after that, while collecting stuff from mailbox, he started being teleported in various points arround the mail. He started laughing, entered the AH, and set hes char on a bench, 20 sec later.... 72h suspension. I`m beeing quite serious, i know him in real life, he is an oldschool raider in a good guild, he never touched any bot, he only uses TSM(normal addon, not the bot version ofc) and he sits arround 2-4 hours average/day on AH. Now as you can see this happened due to player reports. No bot detection or other stupid stories. We were shocked that this can happen to 100% legit players, but it does. So what we did in exchange? We did multiple reports, tickets to that person that reported him, and guess what, 10 days later, that person gets banned for good. So yeah, i don`t want to give people`s ideas, but you can harm others just by reporting, even if they are legit.
It can and does happen. There was a guild back in Cataclysm on my server who was notorious for trying to snipe good players out of established raiding guilds for their group, and if they declined the offer they would submit reports across multiple accounts and IPs and get them suspended.
