- Used on all: kick's 80-90lvl profiles - 5 acc's banned in one time, and 3 more few hours l8r - was running them for 10h/24 - all acc's were diffrent, diffrent owner, class, char, spec - All acc's were EU - 1/2 of them were created 23.03 and 1/2 of them 26.03 - All sor + mop keys - Got asap PERM ban, no 72h - just perm: " This world of warcraft account was closed and is no longer to use" Just after that when i log on other acc's i get new therms of use with a long list sayyng - no selling / exchange gold for cash - no mods/bots etc - a lot more Any one got the same thing ?? Do u think blizz got us down ?
This is what bothers me... why are they going after sor and not everyone? wtf are they detecting anyways.. is there a response from hb staff about this anywhere?
no they are not down on us its because you used sor accounts im botting on 5 accounts with normal keys and no bans so next time just buy keys
Accounts that have been inactive suddenly becomes active for 10-24 hours a day after 6 years? What's the chance of it being the real owner? Probably 1/100000000. Blizzard detects Scroll of Resurrection being used on an unmerged (even easier to track) account, they look into the account activity for 2 minutes and realize it's a bot. If you want them to not get banned, play them yourself initially and after 1-2 weeks you could start botting. Doing it right away is asking for a ban. Of course these are just theories, but I'd say it's pretty accurate.
Yeah im giong to agree and elaborate on this. People sell their old accounts all the time, or inactive ones get hacked and the owners dont care. you dont hack a brand new unmade account or have someone buy a new account then decide right away theyre going to sell it, thats why botters use SOR accounts, because theyre cheaper. It's a pretty obvious trend and statistically more peopel buy old accounts in bulk far more often than fresh accounts. Its like driving your car around all crazy in the middle of the night and say "hey! you cant breathalize me! just because i was swerving all over the road doesnt mean im drunk!". Yeah swerving doesnt mean your drunk but it does give the impression you might be and its worth further investigation, which is what happens here "Oh, this guy hasnt been on in years, now hes moved to another country and is playing 10 hours strait!". It definately raises some red flags and im certain GM's spend a little extra effort investigating these things because most of the time they arent legit, and it doesnt take a whole lot to spot a bot, especially if you know what to look for. The real thing we have going for us is being able to lay low and getting lost in the sea of other people playing the game. blizzard has a lot of people to keep track of, thats our saving grace, but when you do some pretty peculiar behaviors you lose that anonymity and get yourself noticed.
even sellers tell you us has very high banrate on sor accounts, eu a little less, but still high banrate. Still you use em. using a fresh account takes you 3 days tops to go 90 and ur more safe. i dont get it why people still buy sor accounts. Its pointless.
You COULD get from 1-90 in three days, if you are doing RAF and going 20-24 hours a day. My average time /played 1-90 is about 2 days 12 hours. I wouldn't recommend doing it so quickly though...I spread those 2 1/2 days over a week or so.
What does SoR mean lol, cause i just re actived my account after botting for a while. i took a break and just came back and added time to my account and i think i might get banned
Would love to see proof of that.. you've got to be doing something fancy that requires a lot of manual work.
I have 4 sor accounts that are going strong one from the end of cata. the main issues that I has seen and been told about is to many peeps go and buy alot of new items for the new toon. even if you were to get a hook up getting new bags a full set of new gear/what not will make most people look twice, the only one I got banned the first day was a toon that I tranfered 100k gold to another guild 2 days in. This is just me but give the full 7 days of free play time to just do your thing. don't give them stuff make "them" work for upgrades after that I think you a little lower on the radar.
