Hey guys, I was thinking of getting back into SWTOR and was wondering if the BW team or anyone else can tell me if BW has a lazyraider feature or something along those lines? I'm all for afk questing and stuff but I really like to enjoy the game without having to go through the rotation and such things. Thanks to whomever responds Edit: I did look though most of the posts I believe and didn't see anything about this question. though I may have overlooked something. Sorry for the post if this has already been answered elsewhere and I just missed it.
The latest version of WingIt *does* have some preliminary "LazyRaider" type code built into it. Hit PgDown while in game and it'll keep the bot from doing any and all movement. PgUp turns off Combat (if you want to run through an area without killing everything in sight). The only downside I've seen is that you have to pay attention to what BW is *trying* to get to if you have movement turned off. If it is trying to get to an item to loot it may not engage in combat correctly until it times out from trying to get to whatever it is it wants. Overall it works VERY well. Being able to just toggle PgDown to swap between having it run around versus you taking control is a nice addition.
So, if I wanted to use Buddy Wing in a PVP situation could I simply hit the "page down" button and do my own travel to the fight to let BW take care of fighting?
Theoretically. I haven't actually *tried* it in PVP, so I don't know how BW would handle combat versus another player even if they were a PVP Flagged player.
I've only tried Marauder Annihilation in PVP and that's worked well with the combat bot. One thing i've noticed is that on certain player targets the bot won't attack them, it also doesn't print anything in the log so it's like as if it doesn't think you have a target at all.
As anyone tried in flashpoints? I would mostly like it for this. To just run through FPs and not worry about rotations.
Works great in Flashpoints. Just set it to the Combat Bot profile and away you go. I've been going back and soloing the Flashpoints after they grey out so I can go through the storyline aspect of them all.
