I got banned last night, and not sure what to say for the reply to try and convert the perm into a 72 hour. I'm not too worried about it, but would be nice to get it back instead of lvling a new account. Any ideas would be helpful
I have been using HB for a few years now and this has happened to me a few times. I've always called customer support to get it undone. Emailing seems to do no good. Each time I've had my ban dropped. Now I would suppose success greatly depends on who caught you, what they caught you doing, and who you get on customer support. Usually the later in the evening (U.S. Eastern Time) I've called seems to get me to the most jaded, complacent, and give a shit less outsourced supporters who will quickly reverse the ban just to get you off the phone. So I would suggest starting there. My process has always been to try and claim that I never put an authenticator on my account and that I haven't personally played the game in years but have considered going back to it. I act stupid (very important), claim that I had no idea my account was even active until I received the ban email, and ask to have the authenticator removed and the ban reset so that I could play my old account if I wanted to. They are very used to having accounts stolen and botted "without the owners knowledge" so I normally don't get any grief from the support guy. If you don't have an authenticator on the account it would probably be even easier since hacking your account would likewise be easier. Bottom line: Claim ignorance, act stupid, beg for their help, and maybe cry just a little... It's worked for me! Hope this helps!
