      What I think happend.

      Hi everyone.

So, have done some interesting research.
Since last banwave I have been running some "test" bot's.

      3 accounts, 100% "afk" botted

      1 accounts, CR only botted

1 accounts, manualy played while bot was running on other wow session.

1 account played manualy, no bot running.

All sessions have been running aprox 1hour per day.
All on same machine. No VPN's.
      All on same b.net account.

      Result after banwave:

      100% botted: Banned

      CR only: Banned

Manualy played with bot running on other session: NOT banned

Manualy played, no bot running: Not banned.

      This maked me wonder.
Can it be a server side detection?
It's no doubt. Only the accounts with the bot connected is detected and banned. The program itself is't detected, but the injection is.

      Just my personal experience...

your research is a complete waste of time I'm afraid, the buddy developers know exactly what the threats are, they are so far ahead of anyone posting on these forums in knowledge that it's like humans proposing theories on how god created the universe, we don't need to know because it's over our heads

Totaly agree with you there. I did't actualy research, but it was the way I ran the bot's. But I do find it interesting that they dont necessarly ban an account that is running along with a botting one.

The conclusion is correct. It seems Blizzard found a way to detect the bots attached for a while in the past.
This explains, why some of accounts used in the last 1-2 weeks only survived.

What exactly changed during past 2 weeks that blizzard was not able to detect the bots attached to the accounts in this period?

would need a larger test sample then 6 bots and testing different time schedules. But appreciate your thoughts nonetheless.

Edit: yes wrong, many users with new accounts that only botted minimally days before the banwave were banned.

Good study. Good to know. I'm not sure why some people are being Dickson, but thanks for the study.

      Awesome

Dude, I said it like a 3 months ago
      they schedule this.
and HB its detected.. if not, how did they make this last ban waves?
I do not believe people that says "its not detected"

there is a difference between detected and safe
using a bot its not safe at all
but HB team should work to keep it undetected
      thats one point...

First, Thanks for the compromise Winter with the people and sharing your information.
I was doing the same and around 5 months ago I went ultra paranoid mode and kept
all my info to find solutions. I believe i found them after a lot of try/mistake

I wanted to bot today with several accounts and again found myself out..
i just want to know when is bot going to be up..

I believe I found the way to keep it safe 0 accounts banned of 10
its not cheap way but if somepeople are interested i could help yah out!

still my question is .. when its bot going to be up?

The bot's been up for 2 days man...You don't need to come in every thread and ask this question. Do a little searching.
