Hey folks, I have a question about SVN. I've been using it since starting back with HB. I've noticed that when using SVN the folders have a (what looks like to me) green checkmark next to them. However, here's my question, and that is that I've noticed that some of the green checkmarks have turned to red exclamation marks. I've used the SVN update option by right-clicking and choosing "SVN Update" but the red exclamation mark persists. The only way I can get rid of it is to delete the folder completely, then add a new folder, name it, and checkout once more with SVN. What causes this, and how can I clear it up without going through the troublesome process of deleting, recreating, and recheckout? Also, do some people just not want to use SVN, or do all the devs just not know about it? It's extremely helpful with updaing profiles, CCs, and everything else that can be downloaded through it. I just figured that all the devs would be on top of using SVN, but some still use the old fashoined way of uploading a zip file, then taking it down and uploading an updated one, etc.
Probably you edited a part of the profiles thats why you got the red mark.if you delete the folder contents and re-svn you will get the green mark again
Is that all it could be? I'm just asking because I don't ever edit anything on fpsware's CCs, and that's the main thing it's showing up on. The only thing I've ever edited is one of Kick's profiles, and that's the part he said to edit in his post regarding his alliance questing profiles.
