I have .net framework 4.0 and the other 2 Visual C++ redistributables installed but every time I try to start HB it crashes with this same error. View attachment 904 2014-01-02 16.37.txt
The beta build provided exactly the same crash and error message. I can provide a log when I get home if you'd like.
Delete your cache and wtf folder. I had the same issue on 2 computers and doing that fixed it for me.
if you would, please post a full log as an attachment so we can see whats going on. http://www.thebuddyforum.com/honorbuddy-forum/honorbuddy-guides/35945-guide-how-attach-your-log.html
remove: - microsoft .net framework 4 client profile - microsoft .net framework 4 extended - microsoft visual c++ 2010 x86 redistributable - microsoft visual c++ 2012 x86 redistributable restart your pc, download the installationwizard from here run it as administrator. after the wizard is done, run windows update. And install all updates for .net & c++ restart
I have done as instructed above (although I had to manually look for updates since MicroXP doesn't support windows update) but the issue still persists. Here is a new log in case it helps.
the problem is when you run Tiny or Micro versions (a modified windows install) its missing and removed important services and components that we need for the bot. if possible re-install windows with a Full unedited windows install disk.
I was able to get everything to work on a full version of windows, but that was too CPU consumptive (I'm trying to set up 3 VMs to bot simultaneously). The MicroXP solves this issue but as you've said, it makes it much harder to get working. It looks as though it is quite close to functioning as WoW runs fine and HB begins the initialisation process. Is there anything else I can try to get past this "exception not observed" error?
