Last known date of bot prior to 7.1 patch - Release of TOV,
Which was using the Surumar herb profile, upon checking the logs it seems they bypassed your trip wire by just a simple minor patch which made small changes to their detection.
Assuming your application using simple True False or checking for sub strings or even specific lines of code they found a way around it by focusing your attention. *shrugs*

Upon the mass ban wave it seems it hit atleast 95% of the botters, after that a another mini patch came through possibly to turn off detection, not 100% certain as data mining is rather tedious.

As evident in the title my suspension is only for a 7 months so not as bad, but it also means they haven't been able to full detect HB yet, only that code used previously has triggered their detection tool.

Highly recommend a rehaul but that is time consuming and costly.

Regardless HB was a great program in previous patches but human greed got the better of everyone, Having read through all the posts about todays ban wave - Vet botters vs casual botters, it's easy to see why Blizzard pushed their developers into upgrading their bot detection, on Saurfang alone are botters nuking the AH, .... it's seriously invoking challenge to be banned, understandably these vet botters will just get banned and then use that money they made to start again, keep in mind some players bot just to make up for time spent in RL and do not use it to gain advantage in economy or pvp/pve please be considerate, it's cool you guys use this as a source of income but, if you make it so obvious e.g 70k stormscale skins from 1 person , you kinda red flag all botters not just yourself. *shrugs* <- this isn't blaming anyone just the provide insight as to why blizzard is pushing their efforts to catch botters. Whilst in the past they really didn't care.

I bot i got caught no point in appeal.
