One of my accounts was perma banned, buhu. But the stupid thing is that my lvl 25 guild which I use to lvl chars and store ores etc had the GM on the account that was banned. So how do i solve this? I have another account on which i dont bot and a char is a member of the guild, can i submit a ticket saying that "the GM was banned so please pass the GM-title on to me"? Any solutions?
dont think there is much you can do for now, after 30 days of GMs inactivity you can open a ticket and the next highest ranged member gets the title. Id be surprised if they give u the GM status expecially when the account is set up with the same real name as the banned one? give it a try but expect to wait 30 days.. if-i-got-banned-what-would-happen-to-my-guild post from 2008 on wowhead but think its still the same
Its 90 days now, and no, you dont need to open ticket - just after the time pass, there will be new option on the guild roster window - to claim the guild leadership, because the leader is inactive.
GM transfer there is a built in solution for that. after 90 days of GM's inactivity in the guild news you will see the note about "bla bla bla, GM was inactive and you can deGM him". all guild members will be able to click on that and the highest guild rank and the most active member will be granted GM title.
Guild ownership transfer will only happen with these 2 criterias: 1. 90 days elapsed since GM log in. 2. There must be another active player of rank 3 and above which mean Rank 1 (GM), 2 and 3. Only rank 2 and 3 members will be eligible for Guild Leader control. 3. If there is no rank 2 - 3 member in guild, the guild will never be passed in control to anyone below rank 3. (As confirmed by Game Master, as I've petitioned for 2 of my lvl 25 guilds before)
