Account Hacked

Yesterday i downloaded 4 felblight farming profiles, 1 of them did nothing when i tried to unzip it ( Ultimate Farmer rev 01).
i thought nothing of it at the time as i always scan my downloads for viruses.
now i am not saying it WAS that profile but 1 of the 4 installed something nasty on my computer.
8 hours later my wow account had all its toons transferred (with my credit card i might add -$240). and then my account was closed due Exploitative activity.
My Account was not closed due to me running honorbuddy, as i was only testing them, i did not run them for more than 15 min each.
my Account was closed cause some F***er thought it was easier to steal my account and sell off my Toons than run his own honorbuddy.
The Crux of the matter is be damn careful with what you download off this site. some people are ar**holes
How Many others out there have had the same experiance??

 

You need to be careful EVERYTIME when downloading something from the internet. Profiles cannot contain a virus. If you downloaded an archive with other files (e.g. executeables) be careful.
Please make sure you add a link to the profiles you bought/downloaded and notify a moderator so that they can check it.

 

Actually you can create an XML file that, when processed by the target, will be able to access URL resources (web pages, files, ...)
