So, my AHbot (the one residing in the bots folder in HB) is undercutting by way to much. Is there a way to fix that? Also, are there any other superior AH-profiles? =) Thanks in advance!
If you mean the default AHBot profile, it takes about 5 minutes to tweak it into your "perfect" profile. For instance i myself remove all the default "selling code" then add glyphs x2 minimum 50g, max 300g, 0,01% undercut. And its rocking @ AH making thousands of gold every day for only hundreds of gold worth of mats. Glyphs are a delicate market so its nothing that gets you rich over night, however over time its a cheap way to make a lot of gold. (the low mats cost) I normally make sure bot has 3x of around 50 different glyphs. meaning it has around 150 glyphs total. This way i can also by the end of the day see which glyphs sells the most, in a quick and easy way. + my banker / ah'er has TSM installed for statistics.
Thanks for your quick answer mate Just another one; How do you set for example 0,01% undercut? And i'm mainly doing herbs + ores, for example if the minimum amount I want to sell the elementium ore stacks for is 79g, how do I write that? =)
Select "Sell Item To AH: TradeGoods (MetalStone)" then modify the values such as "Min Buyout" lowest value your willing to go if you have ppl trying to undercut you to buy your items, known tactic by others "baiting" to see if bots automatically undercut any value. Max Buyout explains itself really, this is basically if your only one posting. then this is the start value, put it too high noone will buy anything from you before competitors start post at lower price. So put it slightly over market value then you can earn a little extra at times when your only one controlling that part of the market. Post if Below MinBuyout = False Since ore is pricy to post we don't want to post a a higher value just so that there are ppl selling em cheaper, so then your "waiting", never accept following the market to the bottom then you better find alternative ways to earn, get someone to prospect etc... Sell = Amount Be smart don't be a greedy bastard it'll only smack you in the face later on, set it to amount and put a reasonable amount, 10 stacks are more then enough to have posted at AH at any time. UndercutPercent = 0.0001 I like 0.01, however play around with it, if there are ppl using TSM or similar bot it might drive the market down quickly.
Thanks mate, but if i click the "Sell item to AH" tab nothing comes up, so I cant see TradeGoods or anything... meaning I cant switch anything?
You click it on the left side and drag it into your profile on the right side, if it isnt already there. If you click it on the right side you will see options in the lower right corner. Attached a picture, you click in the red circle and then youll see options in the lower right corner, just like in the picture.
