Hello, buddies! I made this thread hoping to get some advice on alternatives to PayPal. I am sure a lot of you guys sell your gold like me, and i am a 100% sure that most of the virtual gold sellers using PayPal have a very bad experience with them! I've simply had enough, but enough of that. Does anyone what an alternative to PayPal? For virtual gold transactions ? What do you guys use? Any "tweak" to PayPal that makes it more secure? Hopefully i can get some good advice here, as i am considering returning to WoW botting after a break (due to double wow ban + paypal ban..), but i won't be using PayPal in that case
There's no one-way system for digital transactions because the system isn't designed for virtual transactions... you can get 3D Secure but even that costs a lot and you'd have to pay a percentage per transaction. Your best choice is to risk it, sadly. Unless you want to accept credit cards and use Cash Advance system such as Western Union, but that requires you to go to places such as "The Money Bank" physical in-store and you need to give ID etc to just receive that one transaction, for such small amounts of money it really is pointless unless you're selling 200,000 gold transactions. The irony is that a lot of people won't use Western Union because they know that they can't get their money back if someone goes wrong, you'd have to prove yourself with high rep on websites.
