I got a tell last night during a herb / mine run, from a character named "Blizzkelly". I feel like this is a person trying to be stupid, just wondering what you all think! I couldn't read it as it was out of the chatbox before i woke up, is there a way to check it in the logs?
theres logs in the /honorbuddy/logs. might want to look there if you want to see whats been said. Someone called blizzkelly prolly didnt say anything else but buy my gold on some shady website.com suggest you get badboy for stupid people / bots like that.
Blizzard representatives will never /w you directly from an lvl 1 char.. if a GM whisper you, a new button in top left corner appear to open GM chat box..
Just because it had Blizz at the start it doesn't mean it was someone pretending to be a GM, even though it very well could be. I don't know if you can see whisper's in logs by default but you should probably get a chat recorder plugin when you bot AFK to monitor whispers.
i figured asmuch with the name blizzkelly it had to be a gold seller or someone who was running the same profile as me trying to get me to log off lol. thanks guys also, that run got me 3 bank tabs of ghost iron ore! can not wait till patch day when they become crazy over priced
Haha is this a troll thread? the link they give you is wayyy off, you were messaged from a private account and the message is full of broken english. That being said I havent seen a wisper bot since like wotlk and all of the sudden ive been hit by 2 within the past week or so. Are the Chinese scammers starting to rev up their game?
i meant it seriously, as i stated, i didnt see the message i just came back to the computer in the morning and accidently hit the tab button and seen that name was the last one to send me a tell. and i never got a chance to read it
