Am I the only lucky one?

So I just recently returned to WoW within the past few months, and I'm seeing people who only just came back days ago that got the ban hammer. I've somehow managed to elude every ban wave on a multitude of accounts over the past few years. I guess I'm just curious as to either why I haven't been, or how the fuck they choose who gets banned? Are people just running HB 24/7 and not giving it any breaks? If people really are running it 24/7, what do you really expect to happen? Or maybe I'm just extremely lucky, all the ban waves are pretty ridiculous though.. There was one within a week after taking a break and now one shortly after I return to the game. I guess I just want answers to this nonsense like everyone else.

 

No, you are far from the only one. I have avoided this banwave on both of the accounts I've botted on in the last two weeks, and one of the accounts was not banned in the previous banwave either.

Some people are just lucky, some aren't.

 

I've been using HB on/off for 4 years. Never once have i been banned or suspended. I avoided the march banwave some how even though i was heavily botting then too. But they got me this time..6 month suspension. It was weird though because a few times in trade chat me and my roommate were targetted, someone said "[Name,Name] are using bots. Report them." in trade chat. No idea how or why he got our names though.

 

He didn't get your names. He was using G1/G2/G3 to target people in your party, displaying their names. It's trolling. It shows literally everyone else their own name or someone from their party.
