Okay so i just payed for the 1 year plan. Does that mean when tomorrow comes and the 1 year plan is no longer for sale, I will still keep my 1 year plan or will it be slashed down to 3 months due to the changes?

Pretty sure it was just a April Fools.

      1. I imagine you keep the 1 year.
      2. March 11th (when the announcement was made about the price change) isn't April Fools Day

      Yes.
Any 1year keys purchased now will continue to have a 1year lifespan, even after we stop selling them.

Keys that are freshly purchased but are not initially used go into a 'dormant' state. This dormant state only applies if the key has never been used before.
Dormant keys will not expire at all and the expiration date for them will not begin until the key is actually used for the first time.

So if you buy a 1year key now, but don't use it until a year later - the key will still have a 1year lifespan once you first login to it.
You could technically buy three 1year keys now, then use them over the span of three years one after the other as the previously used one expires.
