Another Character not attacking mobs with dif. CC

This is like character # 5 with over 8 different CC's that all have the SAME EXACT problem.

It is most noticable when doing Archeology. The character is running, face pulls a mob, and then just stands there with low level mobs beating on it for 30 minutes or so until it eventually dies. If i come back, and press TAB then it will kill them all and continue on.

Log is below. This is a HB problem, please STOP blaming it on the custom classes.
Test your own program please, people have been reporting this for several builds.

It is getting old making these posts, uploading logs, and getting the run around. Sorry if I sound upset, but at least acknowledge that there is a problem and it is on your end.

Have you ever tried giving each class their own folder for Honorbuddy? You log would be alot cleaner then, regarding the CC's you have installed and various other things that don't pertain to the toon you are running there.

I might not know what I'm looking at, but it appears to me that you're using a paladin and loading a rogue CC..

I would suggest using a different installation for every class, to keep things clean and help your logs be less cluttered..

EzRet is in there too, but I'm not seeing any settings loading up...could be it doesn't broadcast any but who knows.

I would suggest making a new fold with a new installation and one CC in it and giving that a whirl.

There is no need to have a different HB install for every CC. If that is the case, Honor Buddy is designed very very poorly.

 

I had the same issue you were in BG's and some heroics on my warrior. Changing CC's did it for me. There aren't many CC's for warriors, though. Not sure about Paladins. Singular worked amazing for me when I botted my pally from 30-73 using BG's.

 

It is absolutely NOT the cc's. It is something to do with HB. If it happens with every single class using singular, and using other CC's, that proves it.

 

I want to confirm you have done a clean install of Honorbuddy with a clean install of a CC directly from the CC's SVN and tested, too? The fact that it doesn't do it for everybody pretty much means it's not proven that it's an Honorbuddy issue. It COULD be, but there would be alot more complaints flowing in.

It COULD be an Honorbuddy issue.
It COULD be a CC issue.
It COULD be an ArchBuddy issue.
It COULD be a setting issue.
It COULD be a profile issue.

 

I have tried at least 6 different CLEAN HB installations on two separate computers.

I have wiped the CC's and installed clean updated versions numerous times.

Just try it on your computer. Run Archeology Buddy with a CC and watch it for 30+ minutes. It will happen.

 

I've leveled 4 toons from 80-85 using ArchBuddy. The only time I've ever encountered this issue was BgBotBeta with my warrior, and changing CC's worked for me. I guess if you tried everything I tried to fix mine, I wish you luck. Hopefully Tony or a dev can help you out, or someone more experienced reading logs anyways.

I've seen numerous talks and reports of it. Even FPSware said it was an HB issue.

 

No. I've already done that, same EXACT results.

Simply advising me to test every CC out there and uploading logs is just going to waste both of our times. I have already tested several different characters and several different CC's and the results are all the same.

1. I'm not sure how you don't know this as a mod, but if you go to my profile, and click "Find all started threads" you can see everyone of my started threads.
2. I have posted numerous logs with different wow classes and CC combos. Everytime I do you simply ask for another variation/test, it's wasting my time. I am not a beta tester. Telling me to get Singular V2 with update when I already have it getting old.
3. Why don't you just admit that you guys can't figure it out, instead of blaming it on CC's when it's 100% obvious that its something in the HB code.

I'll run this one final test - but it won't matter since Singular V2 uses RET AURA and the low level mobs will die anyways from beating on the character. 'EZ Ret' doesn't use ret aura so the problem is easy to spot with it.

 

Then I'll continue to post here. Just stop asking me for logs that you have easy access too. I'd rather have you say "you don't care about the bug" than make me re-post logs you can check with ease.

The bottom line is this, this bug exists in numerous CC's or it is a problem with HB's core. The fact of the matter is, it would be EXTREMELY unlikely that this problem is rampant throughout ALL cc's - including Singular V2.

I suggest the Dev team look into this. It is easy to spot when using Archeology Bot.

And it could be a bug with all the CC's to be honest.
