I am pretty sure this is nothing - but - today using kick's quest bot, got a pst from one Blizzxfa that basically said, we (Blizzard) has scanned your account and you appear to be in violation of our selling money etc. GO to www.security-battle.net. OF course I did not - but just want to make sure......... bogus? And yes, I was with my bot at the time and pst back, "What are you talking about I am right here" and "Does Blizzard know about you guys?" What say you?
Scammers are running bots to find real people, not bots (kids most likely) who will get scared and login with their real usernames and passwords in their bogus website! next thing they know: hacked! then, blame blizz
I have no idea how people fall for these or even question they might be real. Getting a pm in game that looks exactly like a regular pm? The missspellings and grammer and x's and extra crap pinned onto the word blizz. I dont know how they work but they must.
if you want to see if its a real website - No a scam that take your login and changes password and things step 1 - Look up the website they sent you step 2 - put in a made up email - derp@yourasca.com step 3 - put in a fake password step 4 - click login and if you dont get a message saying your username and password is wrong its a scam i have had 2 messages today on a bottling account - one saying from a guy called biizzardi - with a message like [GM] GAME MASTER: We think you need to change your account details for security reasons. If it was a GM it could have the blizz logo beside there name So be careful
