Appealing a Ban

2 accounts - both 6 month suspension. Blizzard reports 100,000+ accounts suspended or banned.

  I stopped playing Wow about 8 months ago and just recently picked up WoD on sale for each account. Used BH to level up the toons to 100, but never used any PVP. No gold selling, no "hacks". I only used HB for personal use - not to alter anyone else's WoW experience.

At the end of the day, everyone that's upset clearly violated the TOS. I think what's frustrating is that some of use didn't use HB to impact the games economy, or PVP advantages - some of us just used it to take the grind out of the WoW experience so we could get to the fun stuff. WoW is a massive time sink and for those of us with an actual job - the grind is now so unplayable / unenjoyable that HB was necessary to get to the "enjoyable" sections of the game. I have no regrets.

It's risk vs. reward. I was able to enjoy parts of the game without sacrificing my every day life and relationships. That's worth it to me. There's plenty of AAA titles out there waiting to be played and WoW isn't one of them.

With that being said - does anyone plan on appealing their suspension? I doubt that it'll make it far down the line, but I'd be curious to see what people's game plans are. I know the temptation is real, but DONT reach out to one of those unban services - it's literally like setting 40-60$ on fire. It's insult to injury, just don't do it!
