There has been other threads in regard of this bug. I was not able to find if there has been a proper fix or notice, my apologies in advance if this may be a double post. Whilst using ArchaeologyBuddy, in Pandaria, the bot will move a few meters in a direction, only for it to survey again and move a few meters in the previous direction. This will cause the bot to move back and forth, and thus missing the Archaeology Fragment that is located in between the two points. This will trigger an endless loop that drags on for hours unless the bot has been stopped, or if the user manually moves the character for the survey.
