Thought I would start to write my own skinning profiles.
I go into developer tools and try and generate a hotspot and it does nothing.
I try and get my position. It says double click to copy position but it does nothing.

Am I doing something wrong? Is it writing the hotspots somewhere where I cant see or know? Its not copying into memory.
Or do I write the positions down on paper and transfer that to a grinding template?

Thanks (nub questions I know :p)

double-click on the hotspot, it should paste to clipboard.

Make sure the bot is "Started", otherwise it won't do anything, I believe you can load up a blank profile, pausing it may also work?

Thanks guys. I was using my main account because it has a feral druid that I can stealth on to get my points but I didn't want to attach the bot to my main account. I just dont trust the bot on my main anymore after the past 12 months here.

I have a quick question on hotspots and how they work. Do they work as an area or as a pinpoint spot?
I am just trying to make a (skinning)profile that will run a path and then reverse. I have a few hotspots in my profile but this thing just does what it wants to the point it runs completely away from any point I have in. I've watched this for hours. started in various spots etc but I cant seem to see any logic to how hotspots work. I've even removed hotspots from closest to farthest to see if it will path correctly but it wont. ie removing the closer hotspots in the hope in will venture further to where I want it to path.
I have even tried adding in blackspots to avoid flight master NPC's. Places that are busy that I dont want my bot to be, but the bot seems to just ignore the blackspots.
      Any advice is apprieciated

I would recommend not even having HB running at the same time as your main or any other account you don't mind losing, let alone attached to it. As for hotspots, they're like pinpoints. As for pathing in hotspots, when started it will run to the closest hotspot and continue on to the next one in line from there. It doesn't always start at the first listed hotspot. Blackspots in HB 3 are not yet implemented, in the meantime, you'll have to add those NPC's in the Avoid section.
