Hi there. PC Config: fx-8350@4.7 16GB DDR3 GTX 670 SSD 256GB Botting Config: 18xBots (1RU, 1EU, 16US) Top servers from realmpop.com Running 9/9 for 11hrs each pack Starlight paid profile HBRelog, Sky Golem, herb chant, manual AH trading Costs: 1030$ and 367$ for 6 banned accounts between banwaves 5.6% comission from China buyer to my russian paypal account (quite annoying) $/day: With average market price (0.09$/1k) ~7.5$ per 1 US bot Money target: As much as possible! feel free to give me any advice
Good luck man. Just wondering tho, are u running all 18 bots at the same time? It seems impossible on 16gb RAM. Also the gfx card is a bit overkill i thhihnk. With top servers u mean the highest pop servers? the 0.09 u getting for your gold is instant, demand or private?
9 bots for day, 9 for night, as i told above. 0.09 for bulk trade with chinese buyer. And yes, most popular servers.
0,09 ?? right now, on most popular servers, the average is half of that. Don't want to discourage you from that, but there's a few things you should implement in your numbers: * Electric cost * Maintenance ( including AH handling. A lot of people does well enough with 1 realm AH and think that they know the deal...you cannot market control 18 realms as you can with 1 realm. Not on the realm of possibility.) * I assume you expect to receive a payment for your personal work in this , which won't be 2 or 3 hours a day. With 18 bots, a good assumption would be that you'll require 5-6 hours at the very least. * Do you know and have trust in your specific middleman, and have an agreement with him? Else, you could perfectly be facing a situation where, whenever you want to unload, they'll greet you with " Sorry but gold price has decreased to 0.04$ per k". That's common, unfortunately.... According to your current numbers, You would need to recover aprox. 1500 $ to reach your Return of Investment. It's great that you include the cost of past botting accounts in the mix; even though they are unrelated, this can be used as a safety amount to cover for unexpected events, ban situations, honorbuddy's off-days, patch days, computer issues, etc Let's make this calculation with the 0.09 per k that you provided, even though that's extremely unrealistic. 7,5 $ per US bot per day x 18= 135 $ per day. So you would need 12 days for RoI without considering all the points above or your personal retribution for the work, and with a very optimistic gold price target. Sol, let's say 20-30 days in a more realistic enviroment. It's possible, but unlikely, that your accounts would last that long. Consider that, the reason that you ain't seeing gathering ban reports often is not that they are not happening, but more like a gatherer is unlikely to keep posting ban reports after a while. After all, there's no clear benefit in it for them. And you better have a good plan once Blizz's eye catches you. It is to be expected, eventually. That'a a gamechanger...
Zul'jin (H) - USD0.085/K Illidan (H) - USD0.11/K Tichondrius (H) - USD0.11/K Mal'Ganis (H) - USD0.085/K Area 52 (H) - USD0.085/K Sargeras (A) - USD0.085/K *today info from skype For my 350W (125W+ CPU, 170W max GPU) system i have this calculations: 0.35kW*24hrs*0.045$ = 0.378$/day Bots running from 23 or 24.11 and soon they will pay for themselves. I spend ~5min for bot to trade everyday on AH and ~3min to trade with my buyer. Any other questions?
hah, you seem very confident, which is good. Lots of people start like that, and when the weariness and the real facts start overcoming ideal conditions, most quit. It just don't work like that...there are hundreds of factors that you cannot easily foretell. But if it works for you, excellent! hopefully it will; In the end, there's few people with the strength of will you'll need when things turned bad.
Because blizzard stance at the moment is against every kind of botting? Including CR only? Hence the banwave targeted to everyone?
Keep in mind that realmpop.com doesn't track individual realms, it tracks connected realms. For example Neptulon, Darksorrow and Genjuros are all connected, and according to realmpop.com all have exact same amount of players. It doesn't really matter since they are connected so you can trade to other players, but it's something to keep in mind since the realm you intend to sell on might not really be high pop because the other connected realm(s) is making the difference.
got error on 2 of 18 bots :/ Error attaching Honorbuddy to WoW! - System.Xml.XmlException Solution: Go into your HB Folder and delete the following forders: "Settings --> Your realm --> Your not working Charakter" and every item in "Cache" Then start the bot and everything is nice
Gold has not that big incidence on competition between players. But CR does. But in the end they are both bad for wow.
