      I have checked buddyauth and reinstalled the program repaired it and made sure there were no spaces before and after the key.

      That is the most recent log file but it really doesnt say anything.

      oh it says a lot. It says that you use version 708 which is old and does not work anymore.
      Download latest release please which is currently 711 and it will work again :D

      Oh i feel special, Well thank you for your help. When did you guys remove the updater from the HB install?

      I had same problem with windows 8.
      i found a working workaround for this, you might not need to do all of the steps. but this is what worked for me :)

      1. uninstall honorbuddy
      2. delete your honorbuddy in the documents folder.
      3. delete your c:\users\%username%\AppData\Local\honorbuddyMeshes
      4. reinstall honorbuddy as admin
      5. run as admin

      download the latest version of honorbuddy from here.
      http://updates.buddyauth.com/GetNewest?filter=Honorbuddy

      after that do a CLEAN Install into a new folder, do not re-install to an previous installation and do not copy over any plugins, combat routines or quest behaviors into this new installation.
