I was wondering how much /played time it would take to level a char from 1 to 80.. is this possible to do before Cata hits? and what way is the fastest? any tips?
12-14 days for me of /played time.. Using no heirlooms or RAF, so take those into account you could trim it down to maybe 8-10.. Also depends on your class.. I have done a warrior, paladin, hunter, and warlock in that time frame.
Thanks for the response. I got heirlooms so that saves me a little time. Don't know what class I would like to level.
Just like they said 12-14 days for me but no RaF or Hierlooms on my warrior and pally. I usually schedule my leveling to be around level 50+ in time for AV weekend where I average 20+ . then back to questing/grinding and some lfg for gear. Morga
Took me around 3 weeks to get a char from 1-80 using shoulders/chest. Used mostly questing from 1-50 and then grinding to 68, then using the chinese questing profile to level to 76 and the rest was grinded. Didn't take that long
I think if you've got time to babysit instance buddy coupled with CTA's would make it dooable in around 10 /played times. Instance buddy has dramatically increased my leveling speed on my priest. Failing which grinding/cta's would be quite viable. Raphus has made my priest leveling so much smoother than any other chars I have previously leveled through Isis (his custom CC which is amazing) and instancebuddy, i truely hope these are supported long time!
