so, me and my brother got our accounts banned 2 days ago.. we had 0 quests, 0 dungeons, 0 bgs done on all of the accounts.. so it wasn't a shock that they got a perma ban, BUT! today after writing a ticket (yesterday) that we couldn't understand what happened.. i got an email saying: We have now reviewed the action which was taken, and determined the correct outcome based on this review. The Closure of your account has been Overturned and in its place a 72 Hour Suspension, and Final Warning have been placed. This suspension is now active, once passed your account will become available for use once more. got all of our accounts back (a total of 11 accounts) not a single perma ban! the funny part; "Greetings, Following a review of your case, we can confirm that the evidence presented was correct, and that the subsequent action taken was appropriate. Our decision in this matter stands, and will not be overturned. Please note, it is our policy never to reveal details regarding account investigations, beyond the information given in the original notice mail, for privacy and security reasons. We now consider this matter closed, and would not look to enter into further communication on the matter. Regards, SOPA WAS HERE.." it help's using one of those genie bottles and wish upon a star once in a while
Grats to all your accounts back! Might wanna consider switching methods from just plain grind bot to something else now then? I used to just grind 100% that got me banned a few months ago aswell, now im grinding like 20%, questing like 70% and BGs 10%. Sometimes i also hand lvl an hour or two, just to be safe.. "Better safe than sorry"
nah, atm we've both got 1 acc each that's legit.. and then we use the others to farm gold with ;D so no point in grinding or questing/bg'ing.. got 2 acc's for grinding pets, rest is GB2 ;D and the funny part, is that even when i edmitted that i mailed the mats from the botting acc to my legit one, the gm said "ohh well, in this case we're talking about wow1, not wow2.. so my legit acc can actually be used as a packing horse and as a auction house acc
didn't realise that there was any compasion with GM's on a botting forum ^^ since their names change, and can't be wired back to the person with that name.. but sure!
