I returned to play out of boredom when I got sick (cancer) because I cant work atm and I'm home all day. Talk about the suck. Anyways, I shamefully purchased some gold (this was pre ever using honorbuddy.. now I know I can earn my own just as easy.. but anyhow) I used igxe twice and that was that. It was awhile back too. Other than that, I am constantly shipping money or goods back and forth between my alts/characters.. I have 2 accounts chock-full (22) but I cant really pinpoint exactly what caused this ban? Any ideas/help? Like many, this account is extremely important to me. Its all that affords me an escape from my troubles right now and I have invested a boatload of time. I am an officer in the top raiding guild on my server and while I do intend to "check out" FFXIV when it launches, that is absolutely zero consolation in regard to this. As I mentioned I use 2 accounts which I multibox, I use them either both on 1 pc, both on another pc, or one on each depending. I also called blizzard yesterday morning to have my authenticator removed because my iPhone is broken. Not sure if its a coincidence or that is somehow related. That's all the info I have, what should I do? I was planning to call blizzard today when they open, but what do I say? Play dumb or is there an approach I should take? /color me devastated
It may be the goldbuying you probably traded the gold directly which is pretty common to get a autoban for atleast to my knowledge. I would recommend finding a seller next time that deposits the gold in a guild bank in increments it's much safer. Can't really give you any great tips on what to say etc becouse i've not got that many accounts back but that's for another reason.
So I got an update. My account wasn't banned for any of the aforementioned. I logged into battle.net and my character was stirpped and transferred to another realm. It was locked due to being hacked =P Whats insane is that my password is pretty hardcore and my pc is clean as a whistle... so I have nfc how that came to be. What I do know is that if you don't use an authenticator your a fugging fool =p I assume when they reply my account will be restored thank god.
yea you can close this. This was a "good" ban. A china IP robbed me. Got into my email too. Bastards. I mean.. we already ship all our work over there... cant they find a means to make money that doesn't involve ripping off another human being?
There aren't that many hackers/scammers so don't judge all chinese people for that especially since most are very trusteable and nice if you get to know them.
You probably got infected when bought gold some time ago. Sorry for ur loss, but you should get all back, from what I have heard recently. Even will get some nice bonus in therms of items and stuff.
