When I got banned it was for 18 months, and I didn't bot at all since I returned. I learned my lesson the first time. I leveled some characters up, did a few BGS (I afk'd a few), and I was suspended a month after coming back. Blizzard not only has targeted previous accounts, they are scanning your computer without you even knowing it. Yes, they are doing it. I was on the forums and saw people mentioning it because I was looking to buy a new wow account and start fresh. So I went onto wow support chat, and was in contact with a GM. He became very defensive and aggressive when I asked him/her if they were scanning our computers because I was wondering if I bought a new account will I get suspended just because I might have a bot file somewhere on my computer that I haven't found. They kept on avoiding the questions by saying "I cannot answer that" and "I will not get into it" I have the chat log still. All they said was "Make sure your computer has no bot files on it". I feel this was the reason I was suspended again. Take that with a grain of salt.
