So, it seems their server side detection is quite efficient. I had 9 bots , 3 per VM , different v p n / each. I had 5/9 disconnected at the same time. I appealed and 4 of them were overturned immediately , one of them with a 72 hour suspension since this happened before to him and even though that ban was overturned, it seems it counted now. The other 4 bots were leveling with Kicks or leveling herb/ mine in other areas, they haven't touched Pandaria yet. 3 of the accounts were farming in Pandaria for like 2 days, custom profile , a quite long one and the farming was done using a different bot, not gatherbuddy. So, don't blame GB2 or CTM because that's not what's getting you banned. It's purely server side detection logic. Which apparently isn't perfect, since 4 of those automatic bans were overturned with no questions asked.
there isnt a server side detection shouldnt we be banned all then? i bot also 10 to 15 hours a day with questing only and pve raiding and pvp arena on my main and questbotting for making gold on my other accounts and im stil fine? did you used sor accounts those are banneble fast did you use gb2 to mutch with public profiles that can be banned fast also never use public profiles make your own. yes you can blame it on gb2 public profiles are dangerous to use.
You didn't read my first post properly. I did not use gb2, I was using a different bot that doesn't use CTM. I used only private profiles and the only accounts that were hit were the ones farming herbs in VoTFW. I didn't say the bot is detected, I said that farming herbs / ore gets you flagged incredibly fast these days. Considering that the ban on 4 accounts was reverted with no other actions against the account makes me think that they cannot prove that you were botting, but it qualifies for botting behavior for their detection mechanism. Also, all the accounts were paid accounts, leveled with Kick's. No SORs.
The server side-detection he's talking about most likely checks repetition of waypoints. That's probably why QuestBot and LazyRaider seem to be much safer at the moment. The only real way to combat this is to make uber long profiles and switch them very often.
Doesn't make any sense at all. It's either your network or it was client side detection... Are you trolling by any chance?
What doesn't make any sense ? I am not interested in trolling , just wanted to point that the recent gathering bans are not related to honor buddy. At least not most of them. They are server based related and their scripts are not 100% proof that you are botting, or they wouldn't have restored my accounts with no other penalties to them. However if I continue botting and I get the same thing again (and I probably will, unless I change the way I bot), they will see and eventually they will close them, even though they don't have the full proof I was botting. My network has nothing to do with it. I had 1 account that was leveling with Kicks on the same IP with 2 of those bots and it wasn't touched. Also, 3 other account on the same IP class were untouched, since they did not manage to get to Pandaria herb / mining levels yet.
