Paid I got banned in hellfire peninsular lvl ~60, I think someone whispered me and i didn't answer or just busted me and reported me, dunno what happened I mean, I was really careful and even at botting hours, most of the times I was in front of my screen, working. Its my first 72hours suspension ban after I bought HB, I can say that I didn't expect it. It was a bit faster than i expected it.. I thought questing bots > grinds bots (about safety) but I guess being greedy or being too long afk can cost. The funny party was that my wow closed with an error 132, so I just closed and re logged and then I saw the suspension, dunno if its luck, dunno if the 132 helped blizzard (many times when I was out and came back home - the wow error had popped) or someone else reported me! I'll take a break for a few days after the suspension and i'll continue using HB again for a few occasions ONLY.! I'm scared - its my main and my only account!
never ever ever bot on an account you are afraid of losing. I don't want to preach to you as it's not my place, but I highly suggest you get another account during the sale if this account means that much to you. That way you are less devastated if the 2nd one gets banned.
Well, i have this account from wow release, i have 12 x 85 (leveled them by my own) and 4 x 90 (leveled them also by my own)... I feel i'm risking it, tho i don't use HB for making gold. i don't care about gold.! Just for a few dailies quests and 1 leveling char. nothing else.!
Wether you make gold, fishbot, bg bot, or quest/grind bot the fact still remains that you're botting and that account will always be at risk. I can't change your mind but I would really suggest another account if you do want to start making gold or doing other botting activities. All it takes is one more time and you'll lose that account forever. You're lucky you're in EU and they hit you with a 72hr instead of a perma like they are to most of the US. Just please be careful

If that's true, I think it's just shitty luck. I've done things like run into a wall for 8 hours straight because I almost never monitor my bots and I've only lost 1 account out of 5. I think I read somewhere on here it takes about 30 reports for a GM to investigate you, so I doubt that was your problem. Sorry to hear it man.
Hmm, yeah that's why i said i was impressed.. It was Hellfire Peninsular that is way too crowded and people fuck gank a lot? It was a few people that reported me unfortunately the same time? Maybe i botted to much the last 24 hours? Maybe the error #132 betrayed me? I wish i could learn the reason, but i guess that wont happen!
did you start bann 15 days ago or you botted on this account a longer time? that important to know! after the first ticket against you nothing happen. maybe x tickets on char1 maybe y tickets on char2 = ban would be very interesting to know if you botted 15 days ago the first time
also your account is a SOR account right that could be the problem to ye account is like 31 euro and 13 euro a month sub they ban sor accounts quicker normal game key account should be fine since a sor account has a 80 lvl on it to start
Does anyone know what it takes for Blizzard to start IP banning? My gathering account recently got banned, but I was botting pretty recklessly so I probably deserved it. I want to buy another account during the sale but I'm kinda worried that I might just get IP banned or lose my main account due to being slightly associated with the bot account (I do not bot my main account). Any advice/tips/knowledge on the topic would be greatly appreciated!

its hard to say. i botted hardcore for one month more than 20hours a day. after 72h suspension started again hardcore and got infally after 1 monath permanend ban. i cant give you really a advice, except this: if you really love your account dont bot with it!
