Been playing since christmas 2004. Been botting for about 3 years, first ban and could not appeal. No warning, no 72 hour warning, never had one. Just got kicked from game and banned. Were you using Honorbuddy, Gatherbuddy or both on the account? Honorbuddy If so, when was the last time?: About 4 minutes before being banned, I was still in front of the PC! What profile were you using?: BGbuddy What combat class were you using? Pally What plugins are you using?: Refreshment, Anti Drown, Ultimate Pvp Suite How many hours per day did you bot for? Over 3 days, around 4 hours x 2 sessions What honest percentage of time did you supervise your bot? Running under browser window, while supervising chat log only. How many auctions per day did you have?: 0 Did you Use Any Other Bots, Hacks, or Mods? No Was your account involved in gold selling? No, never. EU or US realm? US Is the banned account a Scroll of Resurrection or an actual paid account? Paid account been using since game release
Botting in BG? really? after 8 year and you haven't realised its the quickest way to get banned. Ohwell if you read the forums more you would see that blizzard are more alert and getting banned has been increased
I?m sad that you lose your account. I know, how much time and energy you had spent in this account. No chance to appeal? Have you tried? The most risky form to get banned nowadays, is to start HB. No matter, what you do (Maybe except of Lazyraider). Banns increases like hell. I?ve lost 2 Accounts too, could turn them into 72h (last Wednesday). Today I get both back and stay away from using HB on any kind. One Account was really old too. About 7 Years. I wrote in my Ticket, that I never use "Automation- Programms" on an account, that I spent so much time and love. Maybe it was an Addon from curse, that makes Warden feel, I?m a bot. (Sure it was an auto- bann). 30 minutes later, I got an Email from Blizz, that the Account was overturned into 72h suspension. Second account (use it only as an Farmaccount), appealed such an hour later, with a different text. Played a little stupid "Me? Botting? What the hell?" So this account was turned into 72h suspension too. Wish you all the luck, to get your account back. Try a second appeal (via Ticket). You have nothing to lose. Maybe you get it back.
I'm in the same boat buddy. Perma ban after quest botting over two days. Really, really old account with no record. Appeals turned down, going to email them and ring them today. Good luck bro, feel your pain.
