      Hello!

Today I got banned for 72hs on my main account, because I were stupid enough to bot on it for the first time /sigh...

Anyway, I am going to a LAN party tomorrow and the whole weekend, so I would really like to have my account unlocked, as we're probally going to play some WOW.

I was thinking if anyone ever had their 72h ban removed from an account, and if so, how did you do it?

Clearly this is the last time i'll be botting on my main account again.

Info; Im not sure if I've been banned due to the reports of some jerk who didn't like me giving him competition on the gem market, by me using a AH profile, or the fact that I've been using questing bot on a warlock 1-79 in 3-4 days non-stop.

      Hi, Zaicoo,

Personally, I wouldn't try. If you bring a 72h to their attention, they may elect to investigate the account manually. If they find unusual activity, this will convert the 72h into a perma-ban.

Your suspicion is probably correct—player reports are the #1 way botting accounts get noticed. Also, reporting other players frequently causes your account to get automatically investigated, also.

And it sounds like you value your account. If so, you should not be botting on it, or allowing the main account to benefit from another botted account (via gold, armor, crafting mats, etc).

      Just my $0.02,

they will not remove a 72 hour ban under any circumstances .

i got 3 different accounts ban 2 for perma 1 for 72 hours.
      i got 2 reduced to 72 hours
i threw a fit to get the other 72 hour fully removed, it didn't work they said deal with it

I just want to point out that I've had 72 hour bans like this removed multiple times. Maybe I was just lucky though.

      I would definitely appeal it.

In the EU the system usually goes 3, 24, 72, perma. Your offense was apparently serious enough to go to 72 directly. This means your next infraction will be a permanent ban. If you appeal succesfully you'll go down the ladder and might prevent the next infraction from being a perma ban.

I would appeal for sure. If you were an innocent person would you stand for a 72 hour ban?

Plead innocence and it will be removed.
