Didn't even receive a warning or suspension prior to the banning and then they just threw down the ban hammer when I was raiding. No, I wasn't using the bot to raid. I have yet to even use the bot for battlegrounds, dungeons, or raids. All I did today was use my bot for about 3 hours for skinning. But normally I would use it for private pickpocketing and questing. However, from almost two years of botting 17 characters 1-90, using almost the same exact profile (Kick's), and I have never gotten anyone banned or suspended before but then this randomly happens?
No mine just got closed. Been doing the same routine for nearly 2 years and just got hit. Sucks! I appealed but we will see
I was just banned from using kick's 1-90 as well. I think there might be a correlation between me downloading hearthstone with the battle.net desktop app though because it happened almost immediately... Hopefully my appeal works.
I actually have done PP with a private profile however, the last time I did it was a few days ago. And I would probably PP for about 8-10 hrs?
Good news, my account got un-banned. "Recently, your license was actioned incorrectly. As part of our efforts to protect the World of Warcraft environment from exploitative behavior, we recently closed licenses associated with the use of third party programs. These closures were not intended to affect compromised licenses. Access to this license been restored and all actions have been removed. If your license was previously reported as compromised and was waiting for an investigation, this action has not interrupted that process."
