If the last one goes gonna have to use a ***, since I get the feeling I'm being flagged. When Mario posted a ban I got the feeling I was going to get banned, 2 hours later I get banned... 2 Accounts botting, one was botting longer than the other, same profiles, same realm, same race... one banned the other not, probably due to delayed ban the other might also be banned, if so I'll need to change my methods of botting. No email yet.
Same hardware? Same WoW installation? For what we know, they even track screenshots (World of Warcraft hiding information in screenshots | Massively), so your WoW installation and computer hardware might be tagged, and your IP. Some other botters had success by changing to a new hardware and start botting from it with no instant bans like it's happening. Be certain that you're tagged, if you bot again from the same setup, you gonna get caught again.
Actually, Gepies, our fellow forum member Giwin is not near the cases you described. As developer he can and im sure he do bot smart enough to avoid the usual botting mistakes and get flagged in hours/days. Probably, Blizz are changing instead, and lowering the ban trigger criterias serverside, and we will be hitted till adobt the changes ... Dont think that Blizz can lower them too much, because every such action lead to huge increase of the false-positives, so they can lower them till they can handle these failse alarms, then they have to stop on that level.
Indeed, it was a #fail on my part having the wrong edit-window open without realising and posting onto the wrong thread.
