So.. im a bit fking raged at the moment..... Im dont with this bullshit program lol. Bought 2 Battlechest accounts today VIA Blizzard. Bought 2 Cataclysm keys via GOLD ( DID NOT ADD THEM...) Started leveling, and at level 12 i started doing dungeons to level 19 by Hand. Logged onto my Main account, and my 2 brand new bot accounts and proceeded to use Botanis RAF Leveling - Dungeons.. Started at Razorfen Downs, Clicked start, the bots entered the Dungeon and waited for my Main to go in. As soon as i go in on my Main, the bots move down a bit to get the XP from me killing. In full, i did 2 Runs. Both bots were just Sitting at the fucking enterance of the dungeon, doing Nothing but standing there. and my MAIN ACCOUNT!!! with my 539ilvl Mage... was being botted 100% by Honorbuddy, just Mobing through that doungeon like it was his bitch.. 30 mins of leveling, total of level 29, 0 Gold gained, 0 Herb.Mines farmed, 0 Auctions 0 anything .. my 2 bots get Kicked offline and "This account has been Closed " Battle.net says "banned" The bitch of it?!?!?! ---- My 2 Bots - who were sitting there, doing jack shit.. got banned, and my MAIN account.. which BanzorBuddy was running full on, didnt get touched lol!!!! I was using PingBuster - so my IP was UK. even after deleting my ID keys in HKEY_LOCAL_USER. So my question, what the fuck just happend ? (Aside from the smartass answer "You got banned sir" ?! What exactly did i do to trigger a fuckin ban at level 29, after 30 mins of having Honorbuddy started on the account???!?!?!
Guess i should say... I logged into my MAIN account from my Home IP.. Loaded up PingBuster - connected to EU, and then logged into both bots. Im not sure how my new 2 bots could get banned, and my Main account -- who was doing ALL the botting lol..... didnt get touched. im kinda baffled tbh.
ANY pr@xy or IP-hiding/spoofing technology is being detected by Blizzard and will eventually cause an account closure. It may take an hour, it may take a few weeks, but Blizzard WILL take action.
Thanks for posting that information Yify about your experiences and experiments. It is highly suspicious that those two characters were hit just sitting at the start of the dungeon with the client in memory but not running.
@Chesnut817 Maybe because every company around is stealing your data? Google, Microsoft, FB etc. This is called security, and well if you are forced to work with sensitive data for your company, it is one of many lines of defense. @cryogenicrooster yes, I completely agree with you
Its not relevant to Honorbuddy bots at all. Your toons just got autobanned for powerleveling! That means - you started leveling toons TOO FAST since day one of the account, or I must say "Since Hour One" of the account. Happened before on tons of people. Maybe not on lvl 29, but on 50-60 and beyond, leveled in the 1st day or so! Just appeal it, and said - you did nothing wrong! Since you have not done anything botlike, its hard for CS to prove ur botting or so, they must admit, you are clean. The fresh accounts have very tight autoban/flag margins, and I personally Register the account and wait 2-3 days before starting extensive botting on them, or at least do it very slowly from day one!
@Chesnut817 Because I am logged to wow at the same time, most of the time when I need to do sth, I simply minimize wow and doing it.
Guessing since we don't have a properly filled out ban report, the bot wasn't the issue. Instead, the ping-whatever IP address that only the power-leveled accounts were using was the problem. Maybe OP can confirm by giving a proper ban report with useful information.
