Reason for Closure: Terms of Use Violation -- Exploitative Activity: Abuse of the Economy

This account was closed because one or more characters were identified exchanging, or contributing to the exchange of, in-game property (items or gold) for "real-world" currency. This exchange process negatively impacts the World of Warcraft game environment by detracting from the value of the in-game economy.

Even if this is the result of account sharing, the account owner can still be held responsible for the penalty because of the impact it had on the game environment.

This is what I was initially banned for, except I never botted for ore or anything of the sorts. Just used BGbuddy to level up my character and stock pile honor. So anyways I thought it was BS so I appealed it... after 2 hours I get this

"Thank you for your follow-up contact. An additional review of the previously communicated action taken against the World of Warcraft account (******) on (********@YAHOO.COM) has been completed. Unfortunately, we have confirmed our initial findings. The account action will not be reversed or amended.

Evidence was produced indicating one or more characters on the account were found to be using an unauthorized cheat program. These programs provide character benefits that are not achievable in the World of Warcraft through normal means. Such benefits include, but are not limited to, character automation (also known as "botting"), increased speed, teleportation, or running through walls/boundaries. These types of programs offer an unfair advantage over other players and supersede the intended limits of the game."

So of course I thought I was screwed, so I just cut my loses and figured I'd start up another account after I got home from work (2nd shifter)... and then like at like 10pm eastern I got this message

"World of Warcraft - Account Issue

Thank you for taking the time to contact us regarding the World of Warcraft account you are using. We understand your point of view and have thoroughly reviewed this issue. As a result, the account action has been removed from the account and all involved parties have been addressed. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused."

So not sure what happened or why they flopped but it was just super odd to me why within a 3 hour time span they'd switch and flop it out of no where, I mean i'm grateful, and I'm going to be a little more careful about my botting schedule. Wonder if anyone else had this happen to them.
