So i've looked at most of these "i've been banned" threads. It seems that the majority are US using gatherit. Is EU safer or something?
simple answer NO EU does not suffer the wrath of blizzard as much as us tho but they are far from safer.
Botting is always a risk Mostly i seen majority of they GatherBuddy bans by using OVER POPULATED Profiles + GATHERIT MEGA Profile or simliar, Or Simply Gathering 24/7. A lot of people get very Comfy and over do it and bam. Also depends on how much population is on your server id say, more people = more people see u do same stuff = get angry report u.
Custom profiles will always be safer. Public profiles here on the forums are usually very crowded because a lot of people either don't know how to, or are just to lazy to, make their own. Always best to use profiles that aren't available to everyone.
yea i just got lazy i normally rotate profiles every 2-3 days but it gets old making new ones all the time
